Kofie page goal was reached yesterday. Much sooner than I expected. This ensured I can purchase the second GPU, and in a bit we will be on a much greater hardware set-up.

2. I'd love to know if I can reforge this hobby into some financial source of income.

I'm about to start a personal, real-life project. It will take a significant portion of my time. I hope to also expand with model making in the second part of '25. So there will be a downtime in images and content output on my part. It is unavoidable.

Linux

As some of you might know, I just switched all my PC's to Linux. It was an uneasy process, even if I did not get any major problems. All my computers now run a modern Linux distro. On all I can work in 3D, and it looks like I will be doing some crazy tests in the second part of this month. These will be images as well as work on my own models happening. Really interested in how this will support the way I worked on Windows as well as how I will develop as a 3D artist due to this decision.

Games on Linux

I will also quickly share that gaming on Linux is looking good. Most games I already installed (I will admit, older titles) work reasonably well. This is a nice thing to know. Still need to install the more demanding programs in this category.

Finally, Patreon and Boosty

In the near future I will be setting up my new Patreon as well as Boosty services. These two platforms look like the things that will work the best for an artist and semi-professional like me. This hobby is one of several I have, and I will be honest with you... I'd like it to provide some stable and reasonable income. I think there will be 3 tiers. Tip tier, supporter tier, and finally a tier for commissions. The details will be worked out in the near future. Most possibly will also see me restrict 4K resolution files out of public access to the first and second tier.
